Chandrashila
Chandrshila Peak also called “Moon Rock” and the summit of Tungnath, situated in Chopta, Rudraprayag District, State of Uttarakhand, India. It is located at a height of about 4,000 meters above sea level.
CHandrshila Peak provides 360-degree views of the Himalayas, which including Nandadevi Peak, Trisul Peak, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch Peak, and Chaukhamba peaks. There are various legends associated with this place. According to one such legend, this is the place where Lord Rama meditated after defeating the demon-king Ravana. Another legend says that moon-god Chandra spent time here in penance, all the stories also real when you visit this spiritual and peaceful place.
