Madhyamaheswar & Buda Madhyamaheswar Trek (Second Kedar). Madhyamaheshwar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the Goundar village, Ukhimath, Uttarakhand, India. Madhyamaheshwar is the second Kedar out of five panch Kedar. As per legends, this is the place where Lord Shiva leaves their belly / Stomach Part when Lord Shiva divides their whole body in form of a bull. As per legends when Pandavas atone their sins (For Killing Cousines) in Epic Mahabharata war at Kurukshetra, they want to visit Lord Shiva but Lord Shiva was very upset with them for their Fratricide (Gotra hatya) and Brahmanahatya (Killing of Brahmins) during the war and Lord shiva avoid them to meet for not accepting Pandavas prayer, Therefore, he assumed the form of a bull (Nandi) and hid in the Garhwal region. But later after finally Pandavas recognize Lord Shiva in form of Bull and are caught by the Pandavas then Accordance Panch Kedar Lord Shiva in the form of Bull leaves their humps at Kedarnath, Belly & Stomach at Madhyamaheshwar, Arms & legs at Tungnath, Face recognize at Rudranath and hairs at Kalpeshwar.

Day 1 :

DELHI / HARIDWAR / DEHRADUN TO UKHIMATH

Board the Vehicle from Delhi and proceed to Ukhimath via Rishikesh. Rishikesh is famous all over the world because of its spiritual importance. Rishikesh city is in India’s northern state of Uttarakhand, in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges River. Rishikesh, Named after the Lord Vishnu, Rishikesh is a holy city for Hindus. Rishikesh with masses of ashrams and all kinds of yoga and meditation classes. On the way you will see Deveprayag Sangam (Confluence of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi River and origin of Ganges River) After you will also see the Dharidevi Temple which is very ancient and situated in the middle of the Alaknanda River, then proceed to Rudraprayag which is one of the Panch Prayag (five confluences) of Alaknanda River, the point of confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. You will continue to drive alongside the Mandakini River to reach Ukhimath. On arrival at Ukhimath and Check-In to your Hotel. Ukhimath is a beautiful town that is the winter seat of Shri Kedarnath Ji (First Kedar) and Madhyamaheswar Ji (Second Kedar). Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 2 :

UKHIMATH TO RANSHI AND TREK TO NANU VILLAGE (Approx. 07 Km)

After Breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Ranshi Village. The trek will start from the Ranshi Village. We go through Gaundar Village which is found near Madhu Ganga stream and proceed to Nanu Village, on the way you will find many villages with local people and their culture which is amazing to experience. After reaching at Nanu village, check in to your homestay. Overnight stay at Nanu VIllage.

Day 3 :

NANU VILLAGE TO MADHYAMAHESWAR (Approx. 07 Km)

After a hearty breakfast pack your bags and proceed to Madhyamaheswar Temple which is the second panch Kedar out of five panch Kedar. Just Approx. 02 Km above Buda Madhyamaheswar from you can see the stunning clear view of Chukhamba Peak and other Himalayan ranges. In the evening you can join Evening Divya Darshan Arti of Shri Madhyamaheswar Ji. Overnight stay at Madhyamaheshwar Home Stay.

Day 4 :

MADHYAMAHESWAR TO RANSHI (Approx. 15 Km down) & DRIVE TO UKHIMATH

Wake up early morning and freshen up and proceed to Buda (Vridh / Old) Madhyamaheshwar from where you can see the stunning view of Chaukhmba peak, spend some time at this beautiful place and then return back to Madhyamahesshwar temple. After a hearty breakfast trek down to Ranshi village and drive to Ukhimath. Check in to your arranged hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Ukhimath Hotel.

Day 5 :

UKHIMATH TO RISHIKESH (Approx. 180 Km)

After breakfast check out from the hotel & get transferred to your next destination. You will back to your home with unforgettable divine lifetime memories and a lot of blessings.

It was a wonderful experience with life long memories for our team, to be facilitated by Himalayantop Travels during our Deoriatal -Tunganath Mahadev trek last week of this month. The quality of the accomodation, food and transport were upto the mark, so was the assist by dear Pritam ji. It is always like coming to the second home, i.e, Hotel Himalayan Dews in Ukhimath. Glad that I could meet Ashish bhaiya on the final day. Experiencing live snowfall during the Tungnath trek was quite mesmerizing, so were the views of sunrise and sunset at Deoriatal.

This year, we went for Do Dham Yatra in October. I had been looking for travel agents for the Yatra and contacted serval agencies, finally zeroed in with Himalayantop. The dealing of Mr Pritam Rawat was quite impressive. When we started yatra from Delhi, he was constantly monitoring, taking feedback. Each day he was talking to the driver to know our whereabouts and our comfort. The driver that he head delegated, Mr Lekhraj was also awsome and took care of us. Mr Rawat was accommodative of all our requests, in one case when we asked him to change the hotel, he agreed and did as necessary. I would say both of them made our Yatra a memorable one. Our do dham yatra was really a memorable one ,pritam ji was helping us at each step to overcome the challenges ,his brother lekhraj Singh took us from Delhi in ertiga car ,he was also helpful and the car travel was comfortable .The hotels booked by pritam ji was near to the temple and was clean and good .He was quick in arranging a hotel near to gauri kund as we had to shift from.sonprayag hotel to take a dholi next day from gauri kund .So I really thank pritam ji and lekhraj ji for getting us a good Darshan and blessings memorable for a life time .thanks himalayantop travels Radha
